Listen to your heart and give yourself the time to blossom. Choose to live life to its fullest and don't be afraid to try new things. Most of all do no harm.
What matters now
There are so many things to accomplish and so little time. The interests of our lives tend to peak and valley like the seasons. So I try to do what matters most today at that moment. Sometimes I miss the mark let’s face it I can be self absorbed. However that’s ok because sometimes I get the chance to make it right (God willing).

Christmas 2009
I have been just so busy with life and Christmas I just haven’t had time to do any updates to my blog. In general it has been a fairly uneventful holiday season. Standard EMS calls and not a lot of fire calls. For the most part over the last six months I have been working on exercise and weight loss to date I have lost 50 pounds. I cannot tell how much better I feel not having to carry around the extra weight. Long story short I put the weight on after I had my colon cancer surgery in 06 I just started eating everything I wanted, well then you know the rest of the story. However, through the process I have reduced my cholesterol and weight just by eating less and making healthier food choices. Currently I am including some of the engine 2 diet recipes however I am not sure about the whole vegan thing. I do love the raise the roof sweet potato lasagna. It is an awesome dish. Merry Christmas to all!
