What matters now

There are so many things to accomplish and so little time. The interests of our lives tend to peak and valley like the seasons. So I try to do what matters most today at that moment. Sometimes I miss the mark let’s face it I can be self absorbed. However that’s ok because sometimes I get the chance to make it right (God willing).

Seasons of Feather back story.

The changing seasons from fall to winter and some birds in my back yard inspired the poem seasons of feather. I wanted to combine the migrating pattern of birds and the continuous cycle of seasons. That was my overall thought for the lines. And yet full circle seasons turn and Posed for their equidistant dance. A sign of our circular journey and maturity in life.
